Description
Decoking pigs are designed to remove very hard deposits like coke buildup in fired heaters.These can be made in various hardness of urethane, dependent upon compression requirements. Decoking pigs can also be used for pipeline cleaning purposes for very hard deposits that other pigging products may not be able to remove.
Decoking pig of working principle: The coke cleaning technology uses a pump set to output water with a certain pressure and flow rate, driving the coke cleaning balls made of special materials and processes to reciprocate in the pipeline, clearing the coking layer on the inner wall of the pipeline.
Decoking pig of usage: Mechanical coke cleaning technology is mainly used for cleaning the inner wall of furnace tubes in coking furnaces, vacuum furnaces, crude oil heating furnaces, hydrogenation furnaces, ethylene cracking furnaces, steam furnaces, heat transfer oil furnaces, and other furnace types. There are various specifications of coke cleaning balls, suitable for furnace tubes with diameters ranging from 50-300mm to 2000mm
